01 — The Brief
A tower designed to read differently from every side.
UNStudio commissioned photography of the completed tower from a defined set of vantage points across Downtown Dubai, chosen to show how the tower's twisting, contrapposto-inspired form reads differently from different angles.
Access
Several required vantage points were only reachable by crossing active highway lanes with no pedestrian route.
Permits & Security
Formal permits would have taken longer than the shoot window allowed, so several locations were shot handheld; security intervened at points, requiring replanned visits.
Weather
Early Dubai summer haze flattened contrast on the ceramic facade; clean conditions only appeared reliably on weekends.

02 — The Result
Delivered, on schedule.
A completed shot list was delivered to UNStudio inside the four-day window, despite access constraints, an unworkable permit timeline, and repeated haze events on the ceramic facade — joining an ongoing body of work for UAE developers and architects.
