A two-day architectural and aerial commission for Guardian Glass MEA, documenting the Jotun Middle East Headquarters — from ground-level facade detail to rooftop and drone coverage against the Dubai skyline.

01 — The Brief

A facade built to be read as a product reference.

Guardian Glass MEA commissioned this shoot to document the Jotun Middle East Headquarters as both an architectural subject and a showcase of the building's glazing. Day one worked the exterior at eye level across multiple angles and changing light — the folded glass bridge connecting the two blocks, the vertical window strips against white stone, and the landscaped berm framing the lower facade. Day two moved to elevation, pairing drone coverage with a rooftop vantage point on a neighbouring building for a dusk skyline composition.

Drone Permit

Commercial drone operation in Dubai required clearance through the relevant civil aviation and municipality channels ahead of time, with flight restricted to an approved window and altitude.

Rooftop Access

The dusk skyline shot needed a separate negotiation — permission to access a rooftop on a building across from the HQ, arranged through building management and timed to golden and blue hour.

Timing Window

Both the rooftop shot and the drone flight were light-dependent, with only a narrow band each evening to get the sky gradient and building lighting to align.

02 — The Result

Delivered to Guardian Glass MEA.

The final set gave Guardian Glass MEA a complete visual record of the Jotun HQ facade — material-level detail that speaks to glass performance, plus full-context aerial and skyline shots placing the building in Dubai's architectural landscape. Ground level first, elevation second, meant every angle on day two was informed by what the light had already shown on day one.
